Target the keywords that bring customers, not just traffic
Every successful SEO campaign starts with the right keywords. If you optimize for terms nobody searches, or for terms you have no chance of ranking for, months of work go to waste. Keyword research shows you exactly how your customers search, how many people search each term and how hard it is to reach the first page of Google.
Jays Rocky turns that data into a clear keyword map for your website. We group keywords by search intent, match each group to the right page and prioritize the opportunities that can bring traffic and leads the fastest, so your content and on-page work always aim at the right target.
We start by collecting every way your audience describes your products and services. Seed terms from your business, Google autocomplete, People Also Ask, related searches, competitor rankings and the queries already reported in your Google Search Console all go into one list.
Then we clean and organize it. Duplicates and irrelevant terms are removed, and every keyword is tagged by search intent (informational, commercial, transactional or local) so you know which keywords belong on service pages and which belong in blog content.

Long-tail keywords
Long-tail keywords are longer, more specific searches such as "emergency plumber open on Sunday in Leeds". Each one has a smaller search volume, but together they make up most of all searches on Google, and the people using them usually know exactly what they want.
Because they are specific, long-tail keywords are easier to rank for and convert better. We find the long-tail questions and phrases in your niche and show you where they fit, from FAQ sections on service pages to new articles that answer them in depth.

Low-competition keywords
A new or smaller website cannot outrank the biggest brands on the most competitive terms right away. The fastest growth comes from keywords where the current results are weak: thin pages, outdated articles, forums or websites with little authority.
We measure keyword difficulty and check the actual ranking pages for each opportunity. The result is a shortlist of low-competition keywords you can realistically win in the coming months, which builds the traffic and authority you need to compete for bigger terms later.

Search volume and traffic potential
Search volume tells you how many people search a keyword each month, but it is only part of the picture. A page that ranks for one keyword usually ranks for dozens of related terms, so we look at the total traffic potential of each topic, not just a single number.
We also check seasonality and trends, so you can publish and update pages before demand peaks, and we compare volume with commercial value. A keyword with 100 searches from ready-to-buy customers can be worth more than one with 10,000 casual searches.

SERP analysis
Before choosing a keyword we look at what Google already shows for it. The search results page (SERP) reveals what type of content Google wants: product pages, guides, comparison lists, videos, local map results or AI Overviews.
Our SERP analysis records the content type, format, depth and authority of the pages that rank, plus any featured snippets or People Also Ask boxes you can target. That tells your writers exactly what to create to compete, before a single word is written.

Keyword Research FAQs
Keyword research is the process of finding the words and phrases people type into Google when they look for your products or services, then judging which of them are worth targeting based on search volume, competition and intent.
It depends on the size of your website and niche. A small local business may need 50–150 well-chosen keywords, while an online store or content site may need several hundred or more. We focus on quality and relevance, not on the biggest list.
We use professional SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush and Keywords Everywhere together with Google Search Console, Google autocomplete and a manual review of the live search results.
Yes. We research city, area and "near me" searches, check the local map results and build location keyword lists for your Google Business Profile and location pages.
Search behavior changes over time, so we recommend reviewing your keywords at least once or twice a year, and whenever you launch a new service, product or location.
